At Priory Concept Group, bringing our team together is at the heart of everything we do. This April, we hosted our Annual Training Day at the iconic Reading Football Club, a brilliant opportunity to unite both our engineers and office teams for a full day of learning, collaboration, and connection.
Launching the Live App
A major highlight of the day was the introduction of the new Priory App, a live platform designed to keep all our records in one place. This marks a huge step forward in how we operate day to day, making things more efficient, transparent, and accessible for everyone across the business.
Industry Insights and Expert Talks
We were joined by a representative from Forza, who gave an engaging session on doors, sparking plenty of discussion and questions from the team.
Elle Renyard, our Senior Contract Manager, delivered a comprehensive presentation on all our latest programmes, with a clear focus on helping everyone understand how to use the new apps and tools now available. Her session made sure every member of the team felt supported and informed about the changes.
Health and safety remains a core focus at Priory, and Clive Thorp gave a detailed and engaging talk on the importance of safety on site. His insights reinforced our ongoing commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all our staff and partners.
We also had an exciting update from Dave Town, who introduced our team to all things Fire & Security, a major new area of expansion for Priory Concept Group. Alongside that, Paul Molyneux shared the latest on Fire Stopping, further demonstrating our growing capabilities in key safety and compliance areas.
We ran a short but important session on housekeeping and communication, reinforcing just how crucial clear and open communication is, both within the office and out on the road or on-site. It’s this collaboration that helps keep everything running smoothly and professionally.
Another exciting addition this year was the introduction of our new Employee Recognition Scheme. This initiative allows us to recognise and reward team members for exceptional work, particularly when we receive great feedback from clients or see individuals going above and beyond. It’s our way of saying thank you and celebrating the efforts that make a real difference.
A Great Day Together
The day wasn’t just about updates—it was also a chance to reconnect as a team. We enjoyed a fantastic spread of food, plenty of good conversation, and time to catch up with colleagues across the business.
To top it all off, Dennis, our professional photographer, was on hand to capture the day. Everyone had updated headshots taken, and we finished the event with a brilliant group photo, marking another successful and inspiring training day.
